Super Bowl 50 the Eliminator – League of DYKS

The end is near for the NFL season and the last two teams standing are the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. The League of Do You Know Sports Guys (aka The League of DYKS, pronounced DICKS) has slightly more than two teams remaining but a few have been eliminated. Here are a few things have been eliminated this week.

  • The time I spent on the internet looking for football information I noticed that the Super Bowl 50 icon being used this year lacks the Roman Numeral for 50, the letter L. Has the NFL eliminated the Roman Numerals from their Super Bowl markings this year and for the future?
  • Tom Brady and his spaghetti legs under pressure from the Denver Broncos. Eliminated.
  • Any talk of the Patriots cheating over the next two weeks. Eliminated
  • Vinny Testaverde now out of the playoff’s thanks to the Carolina Panthers. Shit, that wasn’t Vinny Testaverde it was Carson Palmer. My bad, I could of swore that was Vinny Testicle-verde throwing all those picks. Eliminated.
  • David Duchovny as Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully in the X-Files are back, not eliminated. I wasn’t into the show when I was younger but it looks pretty darn good. I also like that Annet Mahendru, Nina Krilova from the Americans was in the first episode. Another reason not to eliminate, but it appears she will not make another appearance until .
  • Those stupid Stick Figure things on Facebook. Eliminated, we can only hope.
  • Do You Know Sports Guys eliminated from the playoff round: Jonuts, MJ Madness, The Joker and AK47 have been eliminated. Our guest for the Playoff’s Panda and our current overall leader Greenwell 39 are still alive and need the three leaders to go 0-2 while they go 2-0 and then pick the tiebreaker of total rushing yards. Not Eliminated but on life support.
  • Do You Know Sports Guys eliminated from the Overall Picks Championship: AK47, Jonuts, the Joker and the Bear all eliminated. The best part is Greenwell 39 the current leader, EC Bronco, MJ Madness and your truly the Worm have all chosen a different amount of games so the tie breaker will not be needed to declare a winner. This means for the purpose of the overall champion, the tie breaker has been, eliminated.

The Picks: Last Week 0-2, overall 137-129. “The Joker” last week 1-1, overall 133-133. The Super Bowl picks will appear next week.
