Monday June 6th
Rangers over Astros Colby Lewis has pitched well this year except for a start in April vs. O’s 4 runs but won and a bad outing against the Angels 6 runs allowed and the Rangers won that one also. Faced Astros earlier this year and threw 7 innings of Shutout baseball in a Rangers 2-1 win. He also happens to be 5-0 the previous 3 years vs. the Astros in 6 starts. This is a little deceiving with a 3.57 era in that time but he wins.  Mike Fiers has been one of Houston better pitchers this year but their pitching has been awful in 2016.
Blue Jays over Tigers JA Happ has been a quality start machine for the Jays this year. The Tigers are excited with Michael Fulmer the pitcher they acquired from the Mets for Yoenis Cespedes because his last 3 starts have been 7+ innings of 1 run 4 hits, 0 runs 3 hits and 0 runs 2 hits. Those opponents were the Rays (terrible hitting), the A’s (not much better) and the Angels (get by Trout and Calhoun and you have smooth sailing). I am not ready to hand the mantle of staff ace over to Fulmer lets see how he does against the big bats of the Blue Jays that have been a disappointment so far in 2016.
Tuesday June 7th
Angels over Yankees – (Stay away pitching change) Nick Tropeano starts for the Angels a nice young pitcher. The Yanks send out Michael Pineada who has struggled. I am not sure the Yankee bats generate enough offense to win this game.
D-Backs over Rays I finally give in to my brother Joel and take the D-Backs in a Zach Greinke game.  This is more of a reflection on the disappointment of Matt Moore and the Rays offense than a vote of confidence towards Greinke.
Indians over Mariners – (Stay away pitching change) The return of Carlos Carrasco last week was succesful for the Tribe in a 5-4 win vs. the Royals on June 2nd. His pitch count is limited so I would prefer to only bet the first 5 innings in this one as the Indians bullpen can be an adventure. Wade Miley goes for the Mariners and he has given up 18 runs in his past 3 starts. The Mariners will dig in and fight though as the M’s have won 2 of those 3 awful Miley starts including a 16-13 shoot out where Miley gave up 9 runs. I think the place kicker was injured and the M’s had to go for 2 after their touchdown scores.
Wednesday June 8th
Cavaliers over Warriors – money line The one game the Cavaliers will win the series. I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Cavs actually getting points in this game so take the Money Line.
Indians over Mariners

(STAY AWAY – Danny Salazar has been scratched from this start)

Danny Salazar one of my favorite pitchers this season goes against Taijuan Walker. These two matched up in a great game on April 20th in Cleveland that Walker won 2-1. The last 5 starts for Walker have not been so good and Salazar has been spectacular all season. Cleveland wins the re-match in this one.
Astros/Rangers under run line Doug Fister goes for the Astros and has been good after a slow start. Yu Darvish makes his 3rd start after Tommy John surgery and looks as if he has not missed a beat. Only worry is the limited pitch count of Darvish could mean too many innings for that shoddy Rangers bullpen.
Thursday June 9th
Bartolo Colon over 5.5 hotdogs consumed during the game I have no favorable match ups in any MLB games but Bartolo can eat with the best of them.
San Antonio Stars with the points over the Phoenix Mercury The Stars will be double digit dogs in this one and the Mercury are struggling on defensive rotations and finding a rhythm on offense.
